THE PATRIMONY OF TANGO 2005

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

Next days 24 and 25 of September, in the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Patrimony, the Association of Tango La Junta, will develop to a series of activities under the denomination "the PATRIMONY Of the TANGO". The same ones will be coorganized with the following institutions: Bank of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Inter-American Development Bank, Cultural Foundation FIDUS of the Association of Notary publics of Uruguay and Theater Solís. This event tries to emphasize to the TANGO as excellent expression of the national intangible patrimony. Our Association, as propose original developed east concept for the first time in 2004, as www.tangolajunta.com.uy can be appreciated in our page.

The activity will consist of three parts: a)"the boarded Milonga" from different perspective through the time and the technique; b) Session of Tangos with the presence of dancers and musicians; and c) integrating activity between attending public and dancers, on pieces executed by the trio of the Teacher Alvaro Hagopián.

Saturday 24 of September

MILONGAS

This first part will be developed with the participation of the musicians Esteban Grille, Ismael Pardo and Juan Ignacio Rivero.

1.-Milonga Country in charge of Eduardo Paz and Valeria Suárez.

2.-Milonga Contemporary in charge of Mariana Porciúncula, Leticia Ehrlich, Florence Viurrarena.

3.-Milonga Classic, in charge of Mariana Porciúncula, Eduardo Peace, Florence Viurrarena, Amaral Angel, Noelia Beltrán and Federico Ganón.

4.-Milonga "Brave Hand", Trio of the Teacher Alvaro Hagopián and Professors Omar Correa and Elena Vilariño.

TANGOS

The activity will continue with the musical support of the Trio of the Teacher Alvaro Hagopian to the piano, Jose Lagreca to bandoneón and Charly Cardozo to the contrabass.

1. - "Don Juan": professors Federico Ganón and Noelia Beltrán.

2. -"Gallo Ciego ": professors Omar Correa and Elena Vilariño

3. -"La Cumparsita ": set of dancers of "the Meeting"

INTEGRATION OF THE PUBLIC

Always under the Musical Direction of the Teacher Alvaro Hagopián, a Session of instrumental tangos will be developed, where the dancers will integrate to the public present, thus fulfilling a main target of the celebration of the Day of the Patrimony, to nuclear to public and the artists surroundings to a central expression of our cultural patrimony, "the Tango".
