2º Days of initiation to the tango with the University of the Republic and the Institute of Professors Artigas 2003

Introduction

Preliminary Program

It will be made during the months of October and November of the current year and will include/understand a set of structured activities in the following areas:

- Introduction to the tango dances

- Identity and culture

- Music

Parallelly other events will be organized, that include ceremony of opening, dances, exhibitions of dance, exhibitions, etc., and tasks of diffusion and audio-visual registry of allthe activities will be made.

Purpose

In accordance with the objectives of the association, these days must like general intention contribute to the diffusion of the tango, as own cultural phenomenon of our national identity, in all their artistic and intellectual manifestations, with emphasis in the dance. In individual, one is to promote the interest and the reflection of the academic space by this form of expression. Also, one considers like objective to foment the cultural interchange with other academic scopes at regional and international level.

Activity:

Person in charge: Sebastián Bartaburu and equipment of students of the I.E.N.B.A. Participation in televising and radial programs by means of invitation and cover of some activities on the part of the televising, radial and written press. Static publicity and diffusion Design and impression of the poster of the seminary and steering wheels and diffusion by means of the electronic mail of the university network. Photographic registry of events and edition of a video of the seminary with cover of events and interviews.
