In June of that year Tango Mayor it was the chosen spectacle to close, in a great finery, the Gardeliana Week. In other instances of this event figures of the stature of Rodolfo Mederos, Orchestra Color Tango (ex- Pugliese), Atilio Stampone, etc. participated which sets the standard of the importance of this fact.

In September of this year GREATER TANGO it will represent Uruguay in 1er. FESTIVAL DE TANGO DE WASHINGTON whose main instances will be made in the University George Washington. In the same city one will appear in the audiences of KENNEDY CENTER and the I.A.D.B. It will offer functions, completing a tour by EE.UU in: BALTIMORE, N.YORK, BOSTON and other that are being managed at the moment.

TANGO MAYOR is a spectacle than it reaffirms to us because the tango follows always effective; because to say of Gustavo Nocetti… “it is the greater cultural creation of the towns of the wide river like sea…”.
